Mike Fusco - Planning & Zoning

Mike Fusco grew up in Northford, CT, and graduated from North Branford High School in 1990.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston College before attending Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was an Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review.  He is a 25 year practicing attorney, having clerked at the Connecticut Appellate Court, litigated at a large Hartford law firm, and now works for Travelers Insurance. 

 

Mike has lived in Durham since 2006.  He is a longtime
volunteer with many of the local sports organizations,
having coached many Little League and youth basketball
teams.  He has also volunteered with other nonprofit and
local groups, including Junior Achievement, Durham and
Middlefield Youth and Family Services, the Durham Co-
operative Nursery School, and other local organizations.
Mike lives with his wife, Lori, and sons Ryan, a senior at
CRHS, and Tyler, a graduate of CRHS and a current sophomore at UConn, and their yellow lab, Kieley. 

 

 

Mike hopes to serve Durham as a part of the Planning and Zoning Commission.  He is running for P&Z to help Durham move toward a positive and vibrant future.  In this role, Mike plans to use his legal acumen and good judgment to make approvals and pass regulations that benefit all of Durham’s residents and businesses.  Mike is proud to be part of an incredible ticket of Durham Democrats, whose collective experience, wisdom, and judgment will be vital in moving Durham forward in 2024 and beyond.
