Mission Statement

The Durham Democratic Town Committee is committed to selecting and promoting strong candidates to fill town offices, boards and commissions and working on behalf of state and national candidates who will serve with fairness and integrity.

 

Our primary goal is to maintain and enhance the quality of life in Durham through effective and ethical government. To do this we need your help!

 

Please come join us at one of our monthly meetings, the first Tuesday of each month, to see who we are and what we do. Contact any of our executive board members for additional information. We’d be glad to talk with you.

 

The best way for you to help your community and join our efforts is to volunteer to serve on a Durham board or commission. There are a wide range of these, and many require minimal time commitments. Please see Boards and Commissions for more information.
